《天氣少女》探討情緒的音樂影像課
Weather Girl: Exploring Emotions through Music Video Class

與温晴導演合作時聊到了導演引導演員進入角色的方式,與我在創作教學中引導學生探索自我情緒的過程異曲同工,這段對話帶給我全新的啟發。這樣的共鳴促使我開發出了一個以「情緒」為主題的教案,我們深入探討「喜、怒、哀、樂」四種情緒,並鼓勵學生分享他們對這些情緒的真實經歷。

During my collaboration with Director Wen Ching, we discussed how the director guides actors into their roles, which resonated with my process of guiding students to explore their own emotions in creative teaching. This conversation gave me a whole new level of inspiration. This sense of connection prompted me to develop a lesson plan centered on the theme of "emotions." We delved into the four emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, and encouraged students to share their real-life experiences with these emotions.

課程介紹
Introduction

我們不僅僅停留在表層的情緒感受,而是試圖挖掘出更深層的複雜情緒。比如「喜」中隱藏的淡淡哀傷、「怒」的壓抑與爆發、「哀」的釋放平靜,以及「樂」中伴隨的焦慮。 We didn’t just linger on the surface of emotional experiences but aimed to dig deeper into the layers of complex emotions. For instance, the subtle sadness that lingers beneath “joy,” the tension and explosion buried within “anger,” the calm release that follows “sorrow,” and the underlying anxiety that often shadows “happiness.” Each emotion was dissected and explored, encouraging students to move beyond what they first felt and to uncover the intricate, sometimes contradictory feelings that lie beneath.

透過音樂和影像,我們敘述情緒,連結彼此的經驗,促進療癒與和解。特別的是,樂組與喜組的創作中,都意外地設計出了一位擁有「永恆少年」形象的男子。這位「永恆少年」象徵著我們內在未曾失去的理想與純真,而這樣的形象無意識地浮現出來,讓我感受到創作的神秘力量。

Through music and visuals, we narrated emotions, connecting each other’s experiences and fostering healing and reconciliation.

What’s particularly fascinating is that, in both the "happiness" and "joy" groups’ creations, a character representing an "eternal youth" (Puer Aeternus)figure unexpectedly emerged. This "eternal youth" symbolizes the ideals and innocence we have never lost within ourselves, and the unconscious appearance of this figure made me feel the mysterious power of creation.

Joy-The Marías的《Little By Little》

導演:「人是敏感可又堅強的卻始終無法用無堅不摧來形容。是從何時開始漸漸學會懂得閉口不提有多疲憊獨自一人在夜晚時順應靈魂淚流?人生中數不清想忘卻的事使人時常都會有想要逃避現實的心態,痛苦與快樂總是如影隨形,我們把這樣的情緒稱為喜,而這時夢境就會給人短暫的喘息空間,願你能夠從夢中發現已逝的信念。」

Director: "Humans are sensitive yet strong, but they can never truly be described as invincible. When did we gradually learn to remain silent about our exhaustion, conforming to our souls' tears in the solitude of the night? Life is filled with countless things we wish to forget, leading us to often seek to escape reality. Pain and pleasure always shadow one another; we refer to such emotions as joy. In these moments, dreams can provide a brief respite, and may you discover lost beliefs within your dreams."

​Anger-Kiki Rockwell《Burn Your Village》

導演:「憤怒的定義於我想表現的是一種瞬間性的情緒,因為人不會一直生氣。人們對於「憤怒」時常抱持著負面的看法,那是因為人們總是忘了憤怒結束後的解脫,所以這部片我想營造出:憤怒結束的解脫感。」

Director: "The definition of anger that I want to express is one of momentary emotion, as people do not remain angry all the time. There is often a negative perception of 'anger' because people tend to forget the relief that comes after anger subsides. In this film, I aim to create a sense of relief that follows the end of anger."

Sorrow-Billie Eilish《everything i wanted》

導演:「女主貌似是要去什麼地方,現實生活中的她過得並不開心,導致她在許多事情上都心不在焉,甚至開始逃避,當她與過去的自己道別後,她才意識到,已經回不去了,知道了這件事的她很空虛,但在不斷思考下,她最後選擇邁向新的人生,迎向未來」

Director: "The female protagonist seems to be heading somewhere, but in her real life, she is not happy, which causes her to be distracted in many aspects and even begin to escape. It is only after she says goodbye to her past self that she realizes she can’t go back. This realization leaves her feeling empty, but after continuous reflection, she ultimately chooses to embrace a new life and look toward the future."

Happiness - Vaundy《踊り子》

導演:「樂」,它短暫且爆發於瞬間。我認為曖昧關係恰好能表達這種情緒,但直接呈現曖昧會難以突顯「樂」的短暫。於是,我想結合藥物的副作用與男女感情來展現對比。劇情敘說一位少女患有焦慮症,需服藥控制。她每次服藥後會遇見一個男孩,兩人因此相識,感情逐漸升溫。男孩總在她需要時出現,她也發現和他在一起才能快樂,並逐漸痊癒但男孩卻永遠消失了。」

Director: "Happiness' is fleeting and erupts in an instant. I believe that ambiguous relationships can effectively express this emotion, but directly portraying ambiguity makes it difficult to highlight the transient nature of 'joy.' Therefore, I wanted to combine the side effects of medication with romantic relationships to showcase this contrast. The story follows a girl suffering from anxiety who needs medication for control. Each time she takes her medication, she encounters a boy, and they gradually grow closer. The boy always appears when she needs him, and she realizes that she can only be happy with him, eventually leading to her healing. However, the boy ultimately disappears forever."
